The Board reviewed the job description submitted by Lhe Personnel Board for the position of natural Resource Officer, Selectman Thomas explained that the Personnel Board had cleaned up the job description. Before it was difficult to know what they were applying for. Selectman Hanson questioned the section dealing with education. Selectmen voted to approve the job description as submitted. Selectman Thomas asked that the advertisement for this position also be included in- the Conservation Bulletin. NEW BUSINESS 1. Four individuals were recommended for appointment to the Goals and Priorities Committee. Selectman Thomas moved to appoint Paul Finn, George Kerry, Bill McKay asf)regular members to the ad hoc Goals and Priorities Committee and F. Thomas Fudala as an ex officio member. Selectman Terry seconded. This was a unanimous vote, . Mr. Murphy reported to the Burd that he had rp t with Selectmen Costa and Mc urtrie regarding data processing systems analysis. He also pointed out. that Jane LaBute, Anne Shaw and Pam Dbvis also met. t All parties - involved will submit recommendations to the Board in about two weeks. . Selectman Thomas moved to appoint Mr. Frank Hicks as an ex officio member of the lashpee Historical Commission and appoint Mrs. Mimi D. Marsh to the Library Buitding Committee. Selectman Terry seconded. This was a unanimous vote. 4. Selectman Thomas notified the Board that Perry Ellis has requested that the Popponeset area be opened for shelltishing.
