sI . BOARD of SELECTMEN MI NUTES WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 1985 Present : Selectman Hanson, Selectman Thomas , Selectman Terror, Executive Secretary , Joseph F. Murphy and Town Counsel . Joseph J. Reardon Guests : Margarette Rydel , Joseph l aggi- , Monica Mcnal.l r Selectman Hanson convened the meeting at 7 p .m. Selectman Thomas as moved to accept the minutes of February 5 administrative meeting, February 5 executive session and February 6 regular session. Appointments & Hearings oo - Mr. DiMaggio was in to request permission to operate a carnival on Route 28 . He stated the proceedsould go to the Boas of T tal Scholarship Fund , Mashpee Police Safety Program and Hospice . The name of this carnival will be the Mashpee Summer Festival . The. dates for this event will be Tune 2 , , 2 ., 29 - & o.-The Board is in favor of this project . to -- Ms . Rydei requested a permit to move a cottage from the Plaza at otuit Commons , to Mashpee . She also reported a building permit has been issued and all necessary departments have been notl-fie . Selectman Thomas moved to approve the permit as requested. . Selectman Terror seconded . All were in favor-. Old Business 1 ) . selectmen reee.ived from Chief Frere a revision of an article that was previously mit ted . Selectmen accepted the revision. . Mr. Murphy pointed out the Town Reports of South Cape Beach. Advisory Committee and Cape Cod Planning are very Lengthy and asked if the Board wished to cut them down. Selectmen Ag- ed to leave both town reports as is . New Business 1) . Housing Authority expressed ars interest in a parcel of land on Great Hay and Great Neck R sad. Mr . Murphy pointed he has forwarded this to Town Counsel and suggested ,tilling this under advisement until a title search could be completed . Selectmen asked that the Housing Authority be notified.
