1 <br /> Selectman Manson presented the Board with a letter of resignation from ,John Ferguson <br /> from the Capitol Program Committee. <br /> Mr. Murphy was asked to draft a letter of thanks to Mr. Ferguson. <br /> Selectman Hanson also pointed out the capital Program Committee discussed future <br /> goals and would like to meet with Selectmen to discuss them further. He furLher <br /> stated that Mr. Virgilio requested $75,000 for work on the Town Hall, <br /> Mr. Murphy explained that he told Mr. Virgilio to forget this propo-sal unless he had <br /> the data to back this, and further he has requeste ' an article for a study of the <br /> town ha l I. <br /> Selectman Hanson feels the meed for a building needs committee for all buildings as <br /> opposed to seperate committees. He also stated that spending any major money on this <br /> building before a complete study is done -is not sound. <br /> Selectman Thomas reported to the Board that she was present for the interviews of <br /> the candidates for Natural Resources officer. The Personnel Board w-111 ' narr -the <br /> candidates down to two and make their recommendations to the . electmen at which time <br /> the Selectmen will interview. - <br /> Selectman <br /> nterview. -Selectman Thomas requested an opinion of Town Counsel as to whe-cher it is proper to <br /> have two m.en on board a -the Selectmen just appointed Perry Ellis until .June o-, 1985. <br /> Selectman Thomas al-so stated there .is enough money for two ripen for to weeks. <br /> The Board further discussed the job description and qualifications as well as the needs <br /> of the Town for an animal control officer, conservation officer and civil engineer. <br /> Also discussed was the possibility of.
