I' <br /> New Business (continued) <br /> . selectmen received a complaint from the Monomoscoy Improvement Trust relative <br /> to a mobile home on Lot 19 Monomoscoy load, This complaint was sent to the Building <br /> Inspector who intern referred this t ' the Police Department. <br /> Mr. K ppitt was advised by!,-,the Police Department that he would need a permit from <br /> the selectmen to continue. resid nce there. <br /> Nor. Iappitt applied for a 30 day permit to allow him to oversee the building of <br /> his house. After further investigation the Building Inspector informed the <br /> Selectmen that he has only a permit to construct a garage. <br /> Mr. Iappitt explained that he would like to stay until after Labor Day to oversee <br /> the installation of a septic system. <br /> Mr. Hanson asked why there is a need for a septic system when he is building <br /> garage. <br /> Selectman Thomas stated she was not comfortable with granting a permit to this <br /> gentleman as he has been inviolation since June 30, and is not sure what order <br /> certain steps should be taken for this construction. <br /> Selectman Hanson stated he would move to grant a permit until August 28 to allow <br /> him to oversee the installation of his septic system. Selectman Thomas seconded. <br /> All were in favor. <br /> Selectmen asked that the Monomoscoy Improvement Trust be notified of the granting <br /> f this permit, <br /> . Selectmen received a memo from Deputy Chief Cooper relative to Greater <br /> Popponesset Bay Waterways Details. Selectmen were advised that Deputy Sherriff <br /> 'Neil has recommended that the Mashpee Police Department suspend waterways details <br /> until the Town boat is properly repaired. <br /> The approximate cost to repair the boat is about $ ,000. No action taken. <br /> 1 . Selectmen received a memo from the Historical Commission relative to appointments <br /> to the Commission. 'phis matter was taken care of at a previous meeting of Selectmen. <br /> 11, Selectmen received a memo from the Historical. Commission relative to the <br /> Art' Te�91 asking that town counsel reword the previous article submitted and <br /> postponed. selectmen asked that this be seat to town counsel, <br /> 12. Selectmen received a memo from the Historical commission relative to p'l_acement <br /> of an article in the December special town meeting regarding the Archives Building. <br /> Selectmen voted to submit an article in the warrant. <br /> 13. Selectmen received an advisory from the Executive office of Human Services <br /> relative to the Mashpee Police station Lock—up. No action was taken. <br /> I i <br /> 1 +. Selectmen received communecation from the Action for nuclear Disarmament of <br /> Cape Cod, No action was taken. <br /> 15. Selectmen received a communication from S,A. Cilvar relative to the Mashpee <br /> Conservation Commission. <br />
