BOARD OF SELECTMEN MEETING MINUTES <br /> { <br /> March 19, 1986 <br /> Present: Selectmen Richard Terror, B. Jean Thomas and Willard Hanson, <br /> Executive Secretary, Joseph F. Murphy <br /> The meeting was called to order by the Chairman t 7 :00 .m. A <br /> their : 00 appointment hadn 't arrived, the Selectmen moved to old <br /> business . <br /> 1 The Board reviewed. a. letter from the personnel Board regarding <br /> re c oe ndat ions on the Board Secretary wage Account . The Board felt <br /> the recommendations made a. lot of sense and Felt people should be <br /> notified of the recommendations <br /> 2 The Board reveiwed a memo from the Treasurer/Collector in which <br /> she nae the cost- to maintain alockbox for the Town through <br /> compensating balance vs paying 'or•-i ��outright.,. <br /> 3 The Board reviewed a memo from the Anima. Control Officer regardiLng <br /> waiving o fines . She recommended .ems i to the c3 .scr* tio o <br /> the Animal Control Officer* The Selectmen had no problem with that. <br /> ApRointments <br /> 7,;oo Dorothy Studley was awarded a certificate for her services to <br /> the Town while serving on the Conservation -Commi =40 -5ectman <br /> Thomas thanked her on behalf of the Town., <br /> Peter Jacobson was also awarded a certificate for his services as <br /> lumb ing Inspector for the T own. Selectman Manson thanked him on <br /> behalf of the Town and stated due to population growths the Town will <br /> have to look into having a' full-time inspector. <br /> i <br /> Old Business <br /> 4) The Board reviewed a. memo From the Director of Parks & Recreation <br /> requesting an article be placed on the special town meeting to to seek <br /> $850 to cover unexpected bills . The Selectmen approved putting it on <br /> the warrant . <br /> 5 The Board reviewed the revised Beach Sticker Regulations . Selectman <br /> Thomas moved to accept the Beach Sticker Regulations , e ectma.n Manson <br /> seconded and - it was a vote , <br /> 7)i <br /> The Board reviewed a letter from Town Counsel whiche ined the <br /> language on an article previously submitted regarding private road <br /> conversion. <br /> 8 ) The Board reviewed a memo From the Inland/Coastal WaterwaysCommis-s ion. <br /> They were recommending dredging the outside channel o� oppone set <br /> Bay as phase 1 .
