TOWN OF MASHPEE
CONSERVATION COMMISSION
P P.O. BOX 208
E W MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649
9 June 1986
d0&a
Board of Selectmen f JUN I i
Town Hall
Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649
Attention: Willard Hanson, Chairman
Dear Mr. Hanson:
I have been requested to submit names of persons who may serve
on the Mashpee River Management Committee, to be appointed by
the Board of Selectmen.
It seems important that we make an effort to gather together persons
who will represent a broad base of interest. Persons likely to be
"users" of the area would seem to be those most likely to "manage"
it appropriately. The following persons have either expressed an
interest in serving or have been suggested to me by others:
Kathleen Franklin Gardner & Jane Corbut
David Niven Linda Layne
Richard Terry Rosemary Burns
Earle Marsters
William McKay
Joanne Ferragamo
E. Stuart Peoples
Thomas Fudala (or designee)
Wendy Rubin (or desginee)
Ernest Virgilio (or designee)
Wilmot Merrow
I would also be interested in taking an active role with this committee.
It might also be important to consider a "junior" member, perhaps a
high school student who may be a budding naturalist, botonist or
birder.
I trust these suggestions will be helpful to you.
Sincerely, n
Ma ch duPont
Chairperson
