M. for the <br /> purpose of discussing the above-referenced matter. All members <br /> were individually polled and voted affirmatively to enter into <br /> such session, <br /> Mr. Murphy stated that a drat letter has been written <br /> in response to letter of Edward Ja Conley t Willard. LI, Hanson dated <br /> October 28, 1986 in which it was indicated that the Town of lashpee <br /> is a "potentially responsible party with respect to this High Sachem) <br /> site" and e u ting' the Town's voluntary participation in unde t k-ing <br /> response activities at the site. " He stated that Town Counsel., <br /> Charles Buckingham of the Department of Health and like Hamlin of Weston <br /> and Sampson, as well as himself, have been involved in the crafting of <br /> this response , What the Board has in hand is the end product. <br /> Concerning Paragraph four of the drat letter, Irs . Thomas <br /> commented, "To my knowledge , the Board of Health has not asked. the <br /> Counter Health Department to continue the monitoring of wells in the <br /> area 11 . She further commented , "'Second Page , First Paragraph - the <br /> moratorium docs not encompass the entire impacted area" . Mr. Murphy <br /> replied to 1 r . Thomas ' first comment, "My understanding is . . . <br /> heard Joe Reardon talking with Charlie Buckingham and Hamlin was there <br /> and asking that. The part that I heard indicated that 'yes , the Boar <br /> of Health has ' "t.
