Bode and Js Malone o <br /> Treasurer: Mrs. Florence Lucas and Clerk, V rden Kelley, <br /> 1. Mrs, Richard Staff, Esquire's report was read pertaining to his comments on <br /> the S.A.P. <br /> R <br /> the main comment was that the S.A.P. should not be' referred as a Bylaw. <br /> This was thoroughly discussed and the decision was that the Recording <br /> a <br /> Secretary to obtain more information on this for the next meetinge <br /> It was also decided that a letter is to go out to Attorney Staff to- invite <br /> him- to the Personnel Board's next meeting on September 10th at : P-Me <br /> 2# Approval of Vacations. <br /> 1. Judy Stephenson <br /> 2. Robert Costa <br /> 3. Del McKenna. It was noted -for the Recording Secretary's vacation <br /> salar7 that the previous six months' total be taken <br /> and dvided by the weeks worked for that time will <br /> give an avers ge weekly salary to be paid for her <br /> vacation. Tota: was $56.66 <br /> 3. New Pull Time Fire Fighter's physical examination was examined and approved <br /> for filing. Mr. William Mills will begin h ..s duty on August 2 ,1973. <br /> . Chief Bingham's report. <br /> The Chief's reports of his employees' progress was examined and approved. <br /> Comments of what a good job he does by filing these reports as expected. <br /> The Board's decision was to send Police Chief Bingham a letter of comments. <br /> pertaining <br /> omments. <br /> pertaining to his reports. <br /> 5a Mrs. Lucas, Tresurer and Tarden Kelley, Clerks <br /> Mrs. Lucas requested that Varden KeUey be permanently employed by her <br /> Department as of September 3,1973. <br /> After interviewing Mr. Kelley, the Board decided he is approved for the. <br /> request at the beginning g rate of. 2. 1 per hour for the present, his pro-a <br /> bationary period be waived and that he will be treated as a transfer for <br /> the benefits. Mrs. Lucas to send us a letter pertaining to the request for <br /> our Ales. His rating was decided to be Clerk Typist. A phy8ical uxamination <br /> was requested. <br /> Mrs. Lucas also discussed the Assistant's salary. The Board stated that her <br /> salary will be adjusted when the- new S.A.P goes into effect- Mars Hendrick <br /> will be set into step according to her years of serva�ce. <br /> 6. S.A.P. report from Mrs Bode. <br /> J -Mr. Bode gave his report and comments on the S.A.P. o rrect ions were made <br /> and the Board Members stated his report to be very thorough and helpful. <br /> TING ADJOURNED AT q:2 P,I+i. <br />
