Peters <br /> Highway SureByer G. Green <br /> le SUQCT: Title of Deputy Chief and Salaries for firemen <br /> Chief Hicks and Deputy Chief Peters met with the Personnel. Board to <br /> clarify the title given to E. Peters. A certificate was shown to the <br /> Personnel Board which was signed by the Board of Selectmen in May of <br /> 1968 stating- his appointment as a fall time Firefighter and the rank <br /> 1 <br /> f Deputy Chief. <br /> As Mr. Peters pointed out he feels as if this is not clear and he <br /> is holding two t .ties. <br /> S .ect an o I Connel stated that the title Deputy Chief is a work <br /> assignment and the Zill Time Firefighter is his title. <br /> CONCIUSlo1 : The Personnel Board will send a letter to Deputy Chief Peters <br /> telling him of his proper title after it has been discussed further <br /> by the Personnel Board* <br /> Mr. Peters also commented that being Deputy Chief also should carry <br /> the salary to go al ngwith the title. <br /> The salaries for the two fall time firefighters on the Mashpoe Fire <br /> Department are as follows: <br /> 1973 1974 <br /> Gordon Peters $144.00 weekly x$158.40 weekly <br /> Edward Peters $162.4o of <br /> $178.8o to <br /> r <br /> DEMl N: To put Edgard Peters' -pro-per title lqn a letter fox when } <br /> the Personnel.
