Maxim, W. x Cle tdennin <br /> The meeting was brought to order by Robert Graham, Chairman. <br /> There was a discussion of a letter, dated 1213174 from Amelia <br /> Bingham requesting a waiver of her probationary period.. A letter will <br /> . be seat to her, cc Florence Lucas, stating the Personnel Board's decision <br /> to wave -probatio nary period,' entitling her to sick leave benefits <br /> oorenciang 7/17/74. <br /> A letter will be sent to Police Chief George Bingham outlining <br /> -previous discussion regarding Detective differential, <br /> George Green, Highway Surveyor, was present to discuss an Article <br /> he has submitted for Town Meeting, 1/29/74 re the hiring of two fall time <br /> skilled laborers for Hi&way Department. The ,Personnel Board voted unarms <br /> iously to support the position for one roan, based on the fact that he <br /> is now a ployed-w ex-official, by the town and has been for approximately! <br /> two years, and has been paid from the wage and Chapters' monies. Mr. <br /> Green was also informed, that a jy additional positions in the future <br /> would require statistical evidence of the need, <br /> It was deoid d that Personnel Board members will be informed, on <br /> the preceding Friday of each meeting to be held. <br /> Mr. Graham will invite Brent MeMahano Executive Secretary, to the <br /> Personnel Board meeting on 32/16/74 to dismiss personnel problems and <br /> goals for the coming year. <br /> Sttggestions orue is t make Martin Luther King's birthday� g y a <br /> town holiday should be put in a letter to Personnel Board, subject to <br /> its decision.
