i MINUTES of THE PERSONNEL BOARD MEETING .:, W February 20 lo- Members present at this meeting were: John Peters , Jr. , Chairman, David Niven,, James Rich, and ca line Gilligan, - John Peters , Jr, , chairman opened this meeting at 7:15 p.m. The main purpose of is meeting was to conduct interviews for the position f Ad i ni strati a secretary to the Board of Selectmen. Seven interviews were scheduled f 7:30 Janice Hakkinen 7.50 Sally Pambuku 8:10 Shelley Mills 8:30 Judith Thompson 8:50 Ruth Lounsbery :lo Laureen Goulart 9:30 Lorraine DuBois Of the seven scheduled three did not show; Shelley Mills *: Audi th Thompson called and asked to be considered for Secre- tarial eor - tarial opening in the Board of Selectmen's en Office") . Ruth Lo u ns berg The Personnel Board voted unanimously to recommend Janice Hakki ren for the position. The Board recommended on one person because they felt he was the only qualified applicant. letter will be sent to the Board of Selectmen with the recommendation along with copies of the applications. k At the close of the interviews the Personnel Board discussed the salary of Caren Hale, secretary to the Personnel Board, Due to ars oversight a reivew of this position was not done under the new P.A.P. The Personnel Board voted that a salary 'of .1 hr be paid retro-active back to l and that 77 hours of unpaid work be paid at the rate o $5.14, The Boards recommendation to the Finance Committee will be $5.62 an hour for 7/1/80 This meeting adjourned at 11 :15 p. , {. Our next scheduled 'Meeting will be on Tuesday., February 26, 1980 at 7:30 at which time the Board will conduct their weekly business meeting.
