Board office for the <br /> four appl cat .-.that presented their resumes to be considered for pro- <br /> motion to Sergeant. <br /> Chief O'Connor and Sgt. Cooper along with Karen Hale, Secretary to the <br /> Personnel Board monitored the exarna The applicants were given three <br /> hours to complete the exam. The exams were then corrected and graded. <br /> The applicants were: Ronald Bevagua, Edgar Burroughs, William gthier, and <br /> Bradford Fish. <br /> 1:00 P.M. - An oral interview for each of the candidates was conducted. <br /> The Interviewing panel consisted of the Personnel Board: James Rich, Chairman, <br /> John Peters, Jr., and Caroline Gilligan.. Sgt. Cooper, President of the Police <br /> Employees Association was also present. Invited to assist from other 'owns <br /> were Chief Robert Wherty, of Sandwich, def Leonard Martin, of Falmouth, and <br /> Sgt. Peter welch, of Harwich. Chef Wherty was appointed Ch of the <br /> Panel. Each applicant was given approximately a forty*-five 5 minute -inter- <br /> view and was rated on a l- 10 % scale. <br /> At the end of all. the .interviews all board members scored each individual and <br /> then combined it with the score on the written exam. All were in agreement <br /> that the following recommendation would be made. <br /> 1. Edgar Burroughs <br /> . Wiliam Ethi6r <br /> . Ronald Beva u <br /> .
