Minutes of Personnel Board <br /> Meeting of August 1 , 1983 Pae <br /> g <br /> Reguest to Review Job Description cant.•-- <br /> aroline Gilligan commented that talk in her neighborhood is "don't bother call- <br /> ing the dog officer if you need him,". Rob explained that his vehicle has been <br /> out of commission and that he had been handling calls prior to that. He said <br /> that recently, Temrock Kennels has been picking up dogs'. Bob Sullivan said that <br /> if he were bogged down he should complain, <br /> -Chairman Sullivan asked Rob to submit a written proposal of the changes he .would <br /> like to see on the job description for review by the Board, <br /> Interviews - Full-Time Dispatcher <br /> The Board conducted interviews for afull-time dispatcher at the Police Station <br /> along with the assistance-of Chief Frye and Patrolwoman Hendricks. Radio tests <br /> were given t.o the candidate' s prior to the interview. The following applicants <br /> were interviewed: Leo Perry, Jr. , Camille Lacava, Mark Tttuny, Candace Lee, Mark <br /> Tavares and Cheryl. Hawer. . Glenn Rogers, a part-time dispatcher at the Police <br /> Station, who the Board preciously interviewed was also given consideration for the <br /> position. [upon completion of -the interviewing, the Board voted to recommend to <br /> the Board of Selectmen, Glenn Rogers., Leo Perry, Jr. and Mark Tutuny for the poli- <br /> tion.pending reference checks. Chief Frye was in agreement with the Boaird's deci- <br /> sion and will be making a written recommendation to the Board of Selectmen, <br /> Article for Asst. Building Inspector <br /> An article has been placed by the Board of Selectmen an the warrant for town meet- <br /> ingn September ,12 for a Asst. Building Inspector, The rate has been set at the <br /> $15,756 Grade 18, Step 1 of the P.A.P.- as a result of a comparison with surround- <br /> ing towns. <br /> Resignation of Full-Time Police- Officer <br /> Patrolman Kenneth Hein has -submitted his resignation as full-time police officer <br /> effective August 191 1983- as he has accepted a position as Chief of Police in <br /> Sunderland, Ma. The position will be advertised for in the department before it <br /> does outside. <br /> ' 'own Phys is i an <br /> The secretary mentioned that she rece'ived a call. from Dr. Barry of lid-Cape Medical <br /> Center stating that he wuld like to know the Board's decision on his proposal and <br /> if the town deckles to go elsewhere for employee physicals, why?
