PERSONNEL BOARD MASHPEE TOWN HALL MEETIN:G of JUNE 1 , . 1983 The following members of the Personnel Board were r } to. night - night s meeting . Caroline Gilligan , Curtis Woodburn , Manuel Glickman 1 and David Hardy . Also present during the meeting was Eugene Narr .. Acting Chairperson. All present were in favor .. Interviews for Part-Time Ad rinistrati've Secretary The Personh-el Board con ucte interviews for part-tire administrative secretary 'to the Highway Superintendent , along with the assistance of Ernie, Virgilio ... The following applicants were interviewed : .Elaine Sturtevant , Nancy Can ata , Deborah . Werner , and Renee Ro l and . .Al l app-1 i- cants were tested both for dictation and typing skills . The Board un- animously voted to recommend Nancy Canata , Elaine Sturtevant and Deborah Werner for. the position . Erhie V.irgi l io was in agreement with the Board '. s decision . Department. from Rodney Mills , Harry Joseph , Brooks Gruber and Saver i o Mara i a , They also reviewed- a memo from the Street Super i.n- tendent recommending that Karry Joseph. be considered for the position . Ernie also menti ned in his memo. that he had been in touch with Saver^ io Maraia and found hire to be knowledgeable in different mechanical abili - ties and that he would employ, him. as a. sub-contractor now and then .' Dave Hardy suggested that chief Frye be contacted to check out the background of the applicants before -mai i ung recommendations . Applications for, the position of Administrative Clerk to the Elections and Registrations Board were reviewed. as well . Three a�ppl iants applied for the pos-i t i on : Robert T l l ent , Amelia Mosley and Elaine Sturtevant . Since Mrs . Sturtevant and Mrs , Mosley were interviewed by the -Boa r -pre- viously , the members asked that Mr . Tal 1 ent be scheduled for testing and interviewing . . The applications for the Secretarial position to the Parks and Recreation Department were also rev reed . Two candidates applied -for the position Amelia Mosely and Sharlene Cardoza ., The Board requested that Sharlene Cardoza be ached u l ed . for an. interview- and testing and- that Amy Mosley b tested for dictation t i l l s . pal Tants for the Assessor ' s position will be scheduled for the Personnel oard ' s next meeting of June 20 . The Board of Assessor' s will be notified . Z R 1 Recommendations of Lifeguard Sub titate The Personnel Board unanimous-unanimous—ly voted to recommend Diane Freeman and Maureen McNally as substitute lifeguards for the 1983 summer season based. on Wendy Rubin ' s recommendations .
