MAHPEE TOWN HALL <br /> PERSONNEL BOARD <br /> MEETING OF APRIL 11, 1383 <br /> i <br /> The following members of the Personnel. Board were present for the meeting: <br /> Robert Sullivan, Chairman, Caroline Gilligan, Curtis Woodbury, David Hardy and <br /> Manuel Glickman, . <br /> Chairman Sullivan called the meeting to order at 5:15 p.m. at whichtime interviews <br /> of Special Police Part--Tame Radio Dispatcher positions were conducted. Chief Frye <br /> was present during the interviewing process as well as Ge rdl.ne Roderick, who as- <br /> si ted in giving applicants a. voice-'test on the "walkie-talkie". <br /> The following candidates were interviewed: Barbara Horton, Richard Raymond, Albert <br /> Ouellette, Jr., Gayle R. Morris, Glen A. Rogers, Brenda-Fernandez, Robert Hindley, <br /> D. Brady Rogers, Joseph Noonan, William Ellis, Francis McSweeney. Jeffrey Gifford <br /> was scheduled for an interview; however, called and cancelled. <br /> D. Brady Rogers and Brenda Fernandez indicated that they would like to be considered <br /> for a dispatcher-pool rather than be employed every weekend. <br /> After careful consideration7 the Personnel Board unanimously noted to recommend <br /> Barbara. Horton, Richard Raymond, Gayle Morris, Glen Rogers and Albert Ouellette for <br /> the three aVailable positions upon doing reference checks. Chief Frye was in agree- <br /> ment with the Board. <br /> Discussion on Assessors .fob Descrl. •tion. <br /> Bill Clendenin met with the Personnel. Board to'discuss el. Garland's comments in his <br /> memo dated April. 5 with -reference to the job description of Assessor. Sel. Garland ' <br /> indicated that he feels strongly that the person hared should be a MassachusettsAc- <br /> credited Assessor at the time of. hire. Bill Clendenin expressed his feelings in say- <br /> ing �that he did not thin] we should lirlit ourselves rbc that an individual <br /> should be a M.A.A. at the time of hire, The Personnel hoard agreed to -advertise for <br /> the position stating that -M.A.A. was preferred, <br /> Bill also asked that the -Board give consider .tion -to ad erUsing not only in the <br /> Beacon and the Boston Globe as previously discussed but also in the Springfield News- <br /> paper and the Nall Street-Journal.
