Personnel nnel Board Minutes <br /> Meeting of November~ 4, 1985 Page 2 <br /> Minutes of October 21 <br /> Ben Lofchie roved to accept the Personnel Board's minutes of October 21 . Manner Glickman <br /> seconded. All in favor. <br /> Request to waive Probationary Period <br /> -OW=4mos from Selectmen Terry and from the Executive Secretary, both dated October 31 , <br /> were reviewed by the Board requesting that the probationary period of Sandra Peters be <br /> waived to receive all benefits of the P.A.P. They point out that Mrs. Peters was <br /> previously employed full time as Senior Clerk to the Building Inspector and as a part- <br /> time secretary to 'the Planning Beard before being hired to work in the Board of Select- <br /> men's office on July 15. During that time, Sandys served the town extremely well and <br /> continues to demonstrate excellent secretarial and office skills. <br /> Ben Lfchie roved that the probationary period, for benefits only, be waived for Sandra <br /> Peters based on letters received from the Executive Secretary and Selectman Terry* dated <br /> October 31 . Carrie Saunders seconded. All in favor. <br /> Resignation of Assistant Building Inspector <br /> The Board reviewed a letter of resignation from Harold Collins, Assistant Building <br /> Inspector, effective as of October 31 . To date, no requests to fill this position have <br /> been'made to the Personnel Board. <br /> Violation of K. B hnenberger <br /> The Personnel Board reviewed a letter dated October 31 to Kris Bohnenberger,, Patrolman, <br /> from Chief Frye regarding a violation of department general order 500-28 by having i <br /> his possession a second weapon while on duty. Batrtlman Bohnenberger was suspended for <br /> five working dans without pay. <br /> Open Forum Meeting <br /> The Board reviewed a memo from Selectman Thomas dated November 4 requesting that they <br /> feel free to attend and participate in her first government open forum meeting scheduled <br /> for Saturday, November 23 in the town hall between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and. noon. <br /> The purpose of the meeting is to address concern' of the Ma hpee Citizen as well as t <br /> pass along information. <br /> Appointment of Special Police Officers <br /> The Board reviewed a memo to the Board of Selectmen requesting that June M. Daley, <br /> Animal Control. Officer, and Glen W. Hebert, Police Dispatcher, be appointed as Special <br /> Police Officers until June 3 , 1986. <br /> Animal Control Officer <br /> Laving noted several newspaper articles and comments from the public in general about <br /> the Animal Control Officer, June Daley, Carrie requested that a letter be sent to her <br /> stating that the Personnel Board -has taken note of the excellent job she is doing and. <br /> that they are pleased with the quick adjustment she has made in the short period of <br /> time she has been with the town. A copy of this letter will go to the Board of Selectmen <br /> and in Ms. Daley' spersonnel file. <br /> Clerical and DPW Settlements <br /> The Board reviewed a letter from Dena Rosenkrantz dated October~ 21 to the Executive <br /> Secretary* outlining the Clerical. and DPT settlements. <br />
