The Board requested that she stop in during the week to the Personnel office to show the secretary a copy of the license . Another applicant , Joseph Gomes , failed to ]peep his appointment .. Upon con- clusion of the interview process , Manny Glickman moved. to recommend Bandy Roddy to the Board of Selectmen for the part-tire custodian position - Ben Lofchie- seconded . All present in favor . Discussion -of Management Policy LeoiTu<ro discussed the idea- of a .management policy for all positions which could 'be developed for consistency amongst the various' posit-ions in the town . Leo said that he w uld discuss this ,more with the chairman and present it to the- Board for more review by the end of November . Grievance of corporal Paolini The, Board reviewed a letter yd ..ted October 24 from Chief Frye to the President f the Police union regarding a grievance fil.ed by Corporal Pa lini relative to the Police Sergeant position . - Administrative Secretary Applicants The Board was advised by the secretary that the closing date for the dmi-nis- traive Secretary applicants for the Board of Selectmen/'Executive Secretary had closed .- The candidates .chosen to be interviewed by the' ExecutiveSecre- tary had all been tested . The Board requested that the candidates be scheduled for interviews at their next meeting � ' The secretary advised the Board that the Executive Secretary was interviewing th'e candidates durin-g the current week . The Board asked that the candidates- still be scheduled for interviews . Request to Meet With Board The secretary�advis-ed the Board that Pam Davis had called requesting to have the Board of Assessors m .et with the Personnel Board at their meeting of Nove'mber. 3 . The Board members agreed to this providing the Chairman of Per- sonnel er- so nel could be present . . Town Planner The Board requested that the Town Planner . be asked to .atte.nd their next meeting in order that they discuss the - current administrative ,secretarial -vacancy in his- office and that the Board offer any assistance Special . Town Meeting The Board revi'ewed�a memo dated September 26 from the Executive Secretary re- garding the scheduling of a special tern meeting for December 1 . The primary reason for the meeting is to confront the overexpenditure of the Town ' s oper- ating budget so that a tax rate for F 87 can be set .
