PERSONNEL BOARD <br /> MINUTE OF- SEPTEMBER 8 , 1986 <br /> MASHPEE T OWN HALL <br /> The following Board members were in attendance for tonight ' s meeting <br /> Acting Chairman Caroline - M. ' Gilligan and Mantel Glickman . <br /> Acting. Chairman Gilligan convened the meeting at 6 : 05 p .m . <br /> Program Director In to ry i est s <br /> Wendy Rubin , the Recreation Director ) ret with the Board to review the <br /> duties of the position of Program Di-rector and to assist the Board with <br /> the interviews o-f the' position . This is a newly created full-time posi- <br /> tion hrs . wkly ,established at a Grade 6 ,. $2.50 .60 wkly . <br /> Individuals interviewed wer•e Mark Powers , Melissa Robinson and Wendy <br /> Boothman . Another appl-ie-ant scheduled to be interviewed , Cheryll Childs , <br /> withdrew her application - stating that she was applying for another posi- <br /> tion . All candidates were a-dvised of the job duties and the salary and <br /> hours of the position .- <br /> Due <br /> osition .Due to the fact that there was no quorum , the -m mbers of the Board advised <br /> the candidates that the majority of the Board would have to be part .of the <br /> decision-making process - and that the Burd would meet and discuss this on <br /> September 15 . <br /> Another candidater Marie volkel , could not attend the interviews due to <br /> ars operation . Board members were apprised of this ; however , felt that the <br /> process could not be held up and did not wish to split the interviews . <br /> Note : Mark Powers withdrew his application the day after the interviews <br /> stating that he accepted another position . <br /> Police and Fire_indemnification Account <br /> The secretary obtained permission frothe Board to contact the Executive <br /> Secretary to request clarification on the Police and Fire Indemnification <br /> Account as medical bills were being processed by Chief Martin to cover an <br /> injury cf a firefighter . It wa's the understanding of the secretary that <br /> this account was originally set up to replace lost or damaged equipment <br /> -M .A . Annual Meeting <br /> Board members present were ads i sed that the a nnual M. M .A . Personnel Meet- <br /> ing would be c6ming up and information would be sent out . <br /> Informational Meeting <br /> The Board of—NaterCommissioners will conduct. a' public mee tine on Monday , <br /> September 15 , at 7 : 00 p,m . to discuss the- proposed master - plan for water <br /> distribution and well -sites .
