PERSONNEL BOARD • MEETING OF MARCH 30 , 1987 MASHPEE TOWN HALL The following members of the Personnel Board were present for tonight ' s meeting : C . Ben Lofchie , Manuel Glickman and Leo Turo . Acting in the Chairman ' s behalf , Ben Lofchie called the meeting to order at 6 :1 7 p .m . Article for Upgrade of P .A.P : Positions and Employee Step Placement The Board reviewed the article to be submitted for Annual Town Meeting up- grading several positions under the Personnel Administration Plan as attached : In order that the monies be appropriated for this article , the secretary asked the Board to vote on the placement of the employee whose position is to be up- graded . The Board reviewed the current pay status of each employee as well as the salary which each employee would be receiving as of July 1 with a 4e cost of living increase!] and voted unanimously to place each employee as follows : Administration Secretary - Selectmen ' s Office 8-1 ; Secretary to Personnel Bd . 8-4'; Director to Sr . Citizen (position vacant ) 8-1 ; Asst . Town Accountant 10 -1 ; Administrative Assistant - Selectmen 10-2 ; Animal Control Officer 10-1 ; Asst . Bldg . Inspector 11 -1 ; Conservation Officer 11 -1 ; Shellfish officer 11 -2 ; Asst . Assessor/Data Collector (position vacant ) 12-1. ; Recreation Director 13-2 ; Town. Accountant 16-1 ; Bldg . Inspector 16-2 ; Assistant Assessor 16-3 ; •Deputy Fire Chief (position vacant ) 17-1 ; Town Planner 17-3 and D .P .W . Director 18-2 (per contract ) . The Board voted unanimously note to change the anniver- sary dates of the employees to be upgraded . Employees will be granted a step increase based on department head recommendations of the employees work per- formance . The Board noted that costs for this article were in the are of $26 , 000+ which will also include increase of hours for Administrative Assistant to Selectmen and the Personnel secretary . ' Annual Physical - An 1 Control Olficer Upon review of an inquiry made by Chief Frye relative to an annual physical for the Animal Control Officer , the Board voted to approve the payment of an annual physical commencing this Spring . The secretary was asked to schedule the appointment with the town physician , Dr . Silva . Height and Weight. Standards, - - Police Officer position 3 .•44,.
