PERSONNEL BOARD MINUTES <br /> MEETING OF FEBRUARY 9, 1993 <br /> MASHPEE TOWN HALL <br /> The following members of the Personnel Board were present : Rita <br /> Sousa, Chairman; Jane Stockbridge, Clerk; Robert Sullivan and Leo <br /> Turo . Also, present for the meeting were : Leslie Grieg, Chairman <br /> of the Board of Assessors, and Dave Bailey, Director of Assessing . <br /> The purpose of the meeting was to interview candidates for the <br /> full-time position ( 37 1/2 hrs . ) of Property Lister. <br /> Chairman Sousa convened the meeting at 1 : 30 p .m. <br /> Seven candidates were interviewed by the Board : Gregg Fraser, James <br /> Casey, Martin Ahearn, Paul Stevens, Eugene Barabe, Roger Sturtevant <br /> and Elizabeth Nickerson . <br /> The position requirements, salary information, and the hours of the <br /> position were reviewed with each candidate . <br /> Mr. Fraser was the unanimous choice of the interviewing panel . As a <br /> member of the Barnstable Board of Assessors, Mr. Fraser is familiar <br /> with assessing statutes and procedures . This, coupled with his <br /> experience in property appraisal and field inspections associated <br /> with both commercial and residential properties, makes Mr. Fraser an <br /> excellent candidate for the position . <br /> A background check will be conducted prior to making a recommenda- <br /> tion to the Board of Selectmen . <br /> Meeting adjourned at 4 : 45 p.m . <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> 95 <br /> Ma ilyn Farren <br /> Personnel Assistant <br /> mf <br />
