MINUTES PERSONNEL BOARD MAS PBB TOWN LIBRARY April. 2 , 1996 The following board members were present: Joe Deilaga.la., chairman, MarilynFarren, Personnel Administrator, Ron Levine , Marcia Lindsey, Carole D niva.n, and Norma. Kumin Chairman Dellaga.la convened the meeting at 10 : 00 a.m. ACCEPTANCE of MINUTES FROM APRIL 11 , 1996 Ron L. moved to accept the minutes of April 11 , 1996 . Marcia L . seconded the motion. All were in favor . ACCEPTANCE of JOB DESCRIPTIONS The Board agreed to accept the job description for Interpretive Tour Guide Coordinator with a rework in wording on "job experience" and "degrees required.' . The Board felt that a. Bachelors Degree vs . a, Master' s Degree would be appropriate for the position . The board also accepted the job description for Interpretive Tour Guide with a, change in its "degrees required" wording . Ire that, no Bachelors de re would be required, but a "High School. Diploma/G.F. D. , suplemented by coursework in, (cortin e 'job desc . The board was in. agreement on the changes . Ron L. wanted t be on record that he Felt the positions were not necessary. The Board was also in agreement to sena a. memorandum to the Selectmen/cc : Bob Vhriteno r with a, suggestion of charging a. nominal $1 . 00 users fee for tours . REVIEW PRIORITY DIST The Board reviewed the list and will use as a. tool for accomplishing certain items addressed on the Iist . The board agreed to review certain items with the new Selectmen as they assume their position. Marilyn F. will update the list as discussed with by the board. The next meeting of the Personnel Board will be held on May 2 , 1.996 at 10 : 00 a .m. at 470 Main St . Carole D. moved to adjourn the meeting at 11 : 45 a .m. Ron L. seconded the motion.
