n l q MINUTES PERSONNEL BOARD 47MA T N ST, MASHPEE May 9 . 1996 The following board members were present '. Joe Dellagala, Chairman, Ron Levine , norma humin, Carole Dunivan, and Marilyn Farren, Personnel Administrator Chairman Dellagala convened the meeting at 9 : 05 a .m. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES FROM MAY 21 1996 Ron L. moved to accept the minutes of May 2 , 1996 . Carole D . seconded the motion. All were in favor. REQUEST OF SICK BANK DAYS request for use of Sick Bank Days was received in the Personnel Office from Elias McQuaid. Marilyn F . briefed the board of the request and after discussing , the hoard was in agreement to recommend that Elias McQuaid uses the 11 vacation days remaining on the books . Elias McQuaid has previously used 10 mays from the sick Bank and had requested 15 more . The board further discussed that they will update the sick Hark Policy. Norma K. roved to write Elias McQuaid a, letter with the recommendation of the Board. Ron L. seconded the motion. All were in favor. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR POSITION Norma, K. and Marilyn F. briefed the Board on the interviews conducted last week for the Community Development Coordinator position. There were five candidates interviewed and it was the opinion of both Norma K. and Marilyn F. that they were all candidates . It was both of their recommendations to the board that Cynthia. Sturges be recommended -to the Selectmen for hire for the position. 'orma. K, recommended Cynthia. Sturges for the position of Community Development Coordinator . Carole D. seconded the motion. All were in, favor . Cynthia, Sturges will be recommended for hire to the Selectmen. DISPATCHER TNTERVIEWS The board agreed to interview 33 candidates for Public safety Dispatcher over a, period of 4 weeks at 8 per clay and 9 on the last week of Interviews . Marilyn F . will contact the D.D.w. to reserve a room for the conducting of the interviews on Tuesday May 13 , 1996 at a.m.
