Present were: John Peters,ers, r. , Wilma Graham, and- Phil DiIorio. <br /> The minutes of February 8, 1.978, were accepted.as presented, <br /> Vacation was approved for William 'Chase for February 25 &- 26. <br /> The Board sent a letter to Police Chief O 'Connor concurring with his request .Lor <br /> aPpreval of a shift change. <br /> The proposed budgets for the Personnel Board for Fiscal Year 78/79 were discussed <br /> and voted u,con as requested by the Finance Comittee. x <br /> Discussed the Personnel Board's Annual Town deport which is to be submitted to the <br /> Board of Selectmen. <br /> A :30 p.m. a. hearing was scheduled, as requested by Mr. Ronald Pocknett, and <br /> "own Counsel, Joseph Reardon, Esq. , and Conservation Commission member, fir. Charles <br /> Buckingham, arrived at this point. <br /> Mr. Pocknett requested a, continuance when he arrived, sang his attorney was out <br /> of town. After being advised of the 10-day provision for grievance hearings in the <br /> Salarydmfinis ra io Plan, he asked that this be walived so that he inight contact <br /> his attorney and witnesses and have them present. Mr. Pocknott was further* advised <br /> that the responsibility of insuring the presence of his attorney and witnesses <br /> f rested , h him, and the Board would hear whoever he brought in to testipj in his <br /> behalf. The new date uTa.s set for Februanj 27, 1978, at 8:00 .m. <br /> *yrs. Dorothy Studley, Chairman of the Conservation Commission, was .informed o <br /> this new date and asked to have her ormdssio-n represented at the hearing, . <br /> certified letter was sent to Mr. Poc ne -frith pertinent information concerning <br /> this neer hearing, <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 9:35 P.m. <br /> Rei pec fully sub ted, <br /> Sob <br /> Mary e Ross. <br /> cc: .
