HINUTES OF THE MASHPEE PERSONNEL ARD M=NG <br /> Tune 20, 1978 <br /> 5 <br /> The meeting was called to order at 700 p e . by Chairman Frank Leonardi. <br /> Present were members Wilma Graham, Kenneth Barolski, and John Peters, Jr,, <br /> At 8.o-00 p.m. the Board met with members of the Police Association Bargaining <br /> Committee, Bradford Fish, Albert Gonsalves, and Mit he l swier ; their attorney, <br /> Stepheniuph and down Counsel, Joseph eardon the arg .ng Committee <br /> agreed unanimously that Sgt. Gonsalves be a owed to sit in on negotiations <br /> after discussing the -tact that he may later be considered 'part o management <br /> and could not then, f nct .on as a member of the Bargaining Com.ttee. The <br /> Comnittee stated that the charges which they were proposing had the approval <br /> of the majority of the Association. The next meeting is scheduled for June 28, <br /> 1 978, 'at 7900 p.m a <br /> At the conclusion of the above meeting. the Board pro eeded with regular <br /> business, and the minutes of June 13, 1978, were accepted as presented. <br /> The Board made recommendations to the Board of Selectmen for the following <br /> positions for the sumer season: <br /> ldfeggards <br /> Daryl Xadders Mary Ann Ryan <br /> Matthew Naegelin Kathleen Sullivan <br /> Paul Geep Jean Naege .n <br /> Linda Burke <br /> Attendant <br /> . ard.el Burke <br /> Arts & Crafts Instructor <br /> Deborah Neubert <br /> The Board of Librar7Trustees was informed that interviews for the position o <br /> Library worker are scheduled for June 26, 1978. The 'trustees had informed this <br /> Beard that they would be represented at these interv-le r v <br /> Chief 'Connor was informed that Ptle David Aitchison and Btl. Edgar Burroughs <br /> are eligible for EducationalIncentive pay in accord with the Police Contract. <br /> However, it was this Board's opinion that ptl. Hitchell Swierzand PtI. Reinert <br /> Kokme er should not be entitled to Educational. Incentive pay for credits attained <br /> prior to the existence of the Police Contract& <br /> r <br /> letter was sent to the Board of Selectmen advising them that, due to personal F <br /> reasons, Philip DiIorio dial not wish to' be reappointed at the present times They <br /> were also infonned that since Kenneth Paro ski's appointment does not expire'.-until <br /> December of 1978, he can not be r-eappointed until that time, according to -the <br /> BY-Laws of the Town of Mashpee. <br />
