One applicant for the position of Indian Museum Curator, Ns,, Janice Queener, was interviewed at 6:30 p.m. This "nterview was granted because Mse ueener'. who resides in Colorado, was visiting Cape Cod at this time. `Further inter- views for this position will b conducted at a future. date. Ch of the Board of Selectmen, George Benway, was present for a discussion relative to the additional duties and the new job description of the maintenance crew. Several p ssibilit .es will be -checked out further by both the Personnel. Board and the Board of Selectmen before a decision is made regarding the need for adcUtionai personnel in that department. Upon the Board of Selectmen's recce endat on, this Board advised Fire Chief Gregory Willis to proceed with suggestions made by the Board of- Selectmen regarding Firefighter warren Hicks' contract violation as it pertains t Emergency Medical Training course attendance. The Fernee, Board has concurred with Highway Superintendent George Green's request to extend the employment of Milo DeLola and Martin Hendricks four- two more weeks. Town Accountant was notified of these.extensions. Vacation reimbursement for Jerry DePalma was approved by this Board, and Town Accountant was notified of sate to be paid to Mro DePalma upon his, resignation October 13, 1978. ` The Board of Selectmen were advised that this Board would arrange a future meeting to discuss the possibility of requesting approval, for the position of Conservation/Wildlife Officer at the Annual Town Meting,. Such meeting would include a representative of the hoard of S lectmen and the Chief of Police. ` The Board of Selectmen have advised this Board to submit the name of an individual to replace-Philip Dilorio, who has been unable to attend Personnel. Hoard meetings on a regular basis. The Board of Selectmen were advised that this Board is in the process 0"f'seeking a preplacement for Mro Dilorio. A return to work certificate, signed by Dr. Frederick Di,Iori , w .s receive for Sgt. Albert Gonsalves, The personnel Board advised Chiu O'Connor that Sgt. Gonsalves would have to be examined 'by Dr o Mary Pavia, who is the present Town Physician, On the advice of the Board of Selectmen, the Personnel. Board will formulate a plan to have Town employees undergo a physical examination on a yearly basis. .
