MINB OF THE MASHPEE PERSONNEL BOARD MEETING " <br /> r October 31, 1978-- <br /> This <br /> 978..This meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by Chairman Frank Leonardi,, <br /> Members Wilma Graham, Kenneth Parolski and John Peters, Jr. were present. <br /> The minutes of October 23, 1978, were accepted as read. <br /> The Board of selectmen requested that three to five additional nares be <br /> submitted to thea for consideration for the position of permanent fire- <br /> fighter. The names of the following top three candidates were submitted <br /> to the Selectmen: Paul Frazierl Brian Pierce and Daniel Kelley.. <br /> The Board approved a request from Fire Chief Willis that the temporary <br /> appointment of David Dottridge be extended through November 30, 1978, and <br /> recommendation was sent to the ward of Selectmen. <br /> Police Chief O'Connor has requested a meeting with this Board to discuss <br /> future plans for the supervision of the position of Mashpee Conservation/ <br /> Wildlife Officer. Noveirber 61, 1978, at 7:30 p.m. has been set aside for <br /> such a me ting. <br /> Dorris Kirsner, Charman of the south Cape Beach Advisory CoMMILttee, has <br /> been advised of this Board's recommendation of Ms. Ellen vitagl .ano as <br /> secretary to his committee* The Board suggested that Mr. Kirsner contact <br /> Ms,* vita l .ano before a recommendation is forwarded to the Board of Selectmen <br /> for appointment. <br /> Upon recommendation by the Board of selectmen, this Board has requested <br /> assistance from Town Physician, Dr. Mary Ravin, ',n formulating plans for <br /> scheduling and compensation of yearly physical examinations for employees <br /> of the Town who regularly engage 'in strenuous physical activity in the <br /> performance of their j obs. <br /> meeting has been requested between this Board and the representative from <br /> the Massachusetts League of Cities and 'downs in conjunction with services <br /> which are being offered to selected towns relative to organizing and improving <br /> p er s onne 1 systems. <br /> request for transfer of funds for the Personnel. Maurice Cooper, Jr. <br /> Interviews for the position of Parks & Recreation Director have been arranged <br /> for Monday evening, November 6, 1978, beginning at 8:00 p.m. <br />
