} <br /> Minutes <br /> Mashpee Cultural Council <br /> Monday, October 28, 2013 <br /> Page I <br /> Present: Barbara Cotton, Sarah Eley, Joyce Mason, Katy Rankin-lead, Bruce Taggart, <br /> Madeline Walsh, Lyr e Waterman <br /> The meeting was called to order by Barbara Cotton at 9: 0 a.m. <br /> Minutes <br /> Motion was made by Ms, Daley to approve the minutes of etober'21,2013 <br /> Motion was seconded by leis. Rankin-Read <br /> VOTE: -o in favor with Joyce Mason abstaining from the vote <br /> Motion was made by Ms. Daley y to approve the minutes of November r ,.2012 <br /> Motion was seconded by lir. Taggart <br /> Vote: -o with Katy Rankin-Read,Madeline Walsh and Lynne Waterman abstaining from <br /> the vote <br /> New Business <br /> The Council Members discussed the need to consider a new meeting site and it was agreed to <br /> schedule future meetings at the Senior Center. <br /> Ms. Cotton mentioned that although the agenda had been posted for an executive session to <br /> discuss the applications presented by the deadline, the Council could not go into executive <br /> session for this purpose. The discussion proceeded in open session. <br /> The members reviewed applications one through twelve, it was agreed to support Applications 1, <br /> 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 12. Applications 5, 9, 10, and 11 will be discussed further at the next meeting <br /> once additional information is received. <br /> Also to be discussed at the next meeting will be the amount of each award. <br /> Ir. Taggart suggested the Council look at the local guidelines to consider adding grant limits <br /> and adding langua that would give the Council flexibility if the application did not have a letter <br /> of support. 1t was agreed to place this matter on the next agenda. <br /> ti <br />
