➢ Mashpee Lakes-Wakeby Lake & Johns Pond -nothing to report <br /> ➢ Popponesset Bay Area- Ramp at New Seabury Marina being <br /> reconstructed -estimated date of completion is May 15,2017 <br /> Ken Bates advised dredging had been completed at the Popponesset <br /> Approach Channel and that channel markers would be put in place; also <br /> that the dredge of located some of the missing channel marker anchors <br /> ➢ Waquoit Bay Area- Falmouth putting new marker dight (green) at west <br /> end of Waquoit Bay entrance.. Concern was expressed that use of <br /> planned green light on the marker could cause confusion with boats <br /> running at night as a vessel headed west might pick up the green first <br /> and turn into the groin. <br /> ➢ Water Quality Update/Water Sampling- Dates set for summer besting <br /> have been sent out. Need to pick a date for gaining. <br /> ➢ Barnstable County Coastal Resources Committee Update-nothing to <br /> report <br /> ➢ Sewer Committee Update-nothing to report <br /> A <br /> Public Access Update- New signage finalized and approved by Board <br /> of Selectmen.. Locations for signage to be determined by Board of <br /> Selectmen/DPW <br /> ➢ Waterways improvement Pian & Dredging <br /> - 1916 dredge was completed, all documentation done and <br /> Town payment has been made. <br /> - Poppy approach channel dredge started in recent two days <br /> Sediment to be removed reduced from 9,000 cubic yards to <br /> guesstimate of 7,000 cubic yards <br /> - Natural Heritage stopped dredging operations for a period of <br /> time to make sure we can be compliant with actions required <br /> for entering the TOY restriction period. <br /> NEW BUSINESS. <br />
