Ken update on the No Dogs on the Spit Action Plan. Ken reported the plan had been <br /> forwarded to the State.The State responded and took issue with the Town's proposal and <br /> wants more info on list on reports, records,fines etc. Ken will review with the Selectmen and <br /> recommend they tale up the issue and respond. <br /> Ken commented that the discussions continue on the MOU for a proposed Popponesset <br /> Approach Channel redesign project that envisions longer,wider,deeper channels. Ken <br /> repeated that he is not in favor of absorbing the SPB trucking or dredging permits under the <br /> Town permit,whose separate issues could potentially jeopardize the Town's existing permit <br /> if combined. Don Barton agreed and commented that it is important that distinct operational <br /> pathways are desirable to provide clarity and transparency in this cooperative effort. <br /> Ken commented on the Childs River Restoration plan that will be discussed with the Town <br /> Manager and articles will be generated, <br /> New Business: The Great Kiger Ramp Status Report, The project has been delayed as <br /> previously reported. Katherine Laurent of DPW will be requested to provide an update at the <br /> next meeting. <br /> Organizational Changes: After an interview process, perry Ellis has leen nominated to <br /> replace Bill Taylor as a new member of the Mashpee Waterways Commission, Finally,Ken <br /> requested Don Barton to update the Town website to reflect the list of various committees <br /> that individual committee members monitor, <br /> A notion to adjourn was made by Stan Kealy,second by Al wic el.dote was unanimous.
