Hanson and Selectman <br /> Gottlieb as well as Executive- Secretary, Joseph F. Murphy <br /> I <br /> Guests: Ernie Virgilio, Joyce Nowell, Robert Sullo, Lincoln DeMoura, James <br /> O'Hara, iehard Halpern, Leonard Gobeil, Robert Mills, Janice <br /> Mills, Donna Blethen, Elizabeth Petti', Ernest Roberts, John Saunders <br /> Mary Scanlon, Kathleen Perry, William Burtis, Joanne -Ferragamo, <br /> Anthony Fiorentini, Lew Schwartz, David Ryan and Vernon Thomas. <br /> Selectman Thomas convened the meeting at 7 p.m. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Selectman Gottlieb moved to accept the September 1 , 1987 executive session <br /> as printed. Selectman Lawrence .seconded the motion. All were- in favor. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> 7:00 - The Board of Selectmen acting at the Licensing Board for the Town <br /> conducted a public hearing- ori. a proposed amendment to the Licensing <br /> Board regulations. The proposed amendment would read "No License <br /> shall be open less than 25 hours per geek from December through <br /> April". <br /> No one in attendance commented on this matter. <br /> Selectman Hanson moved to adopt the proposed amendment. Selectman <br /> Gottlieb seconded the motion-. All present were in favor. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1 Mr. Virgilio submitted to the Board a list of mads that would not be plowed. <br /> Also submitted was a draft letter which would be sent -to the associations <br /> advising them of the decision not to plow the roads. <br /> Selectman Lawrence moved to send a co-sponsored letter based on Mr. <br /> Virgilio's road review. Selectman Hanson seconded the motion. All present <br /> were in favor. <br /> Mr. Murphy and Mr. Virgilio will work on draf ting- a letter* <br /> The Board discussed the- possibility -of having - the letter go out with the <br /> tax bills. Mr. Murphy will talk to the Tax Collector regarding this. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> 7: 15 - Selectmen conducted a public hearing on the request of The Flume to close <br /> from November 23 until January 5. <br />
