Motion carried with Selectmen Hanson, Lawrence and <br /> Carter being in favor, and Selectmen Gottlieb and Thomas opposed. <br />' Selectman Lawrence further moved: .to authorize the Chairman of the Board to <br /> execute the contract in behalf of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 2 Selectman Lawrence stepped .down from participating in the next- item for <br /> discussion. <br /> Selectmen discussed with several individuals involved, the possibility of <br /> setting a passing date for the three-way land transfer. ' Mr. Roux from <br /> Primo Properties pointed out they would like to -set the date to pass on <br /> December 8. <br /> Selectman Gottlieb pointed. out he -was .still not satisfied with the terms. <br /> Selectmen set the date of December 8 for passing with the stipulation,-_-' <br /> if Selectman Gottlieb is not satisfied it will not go forward. <br /> Selectman Hanson questioned a four page letter from Town Counsel.. <br /> Mr. Murphy was asked to see if Town.'Counsel intends to charge for the <br /> letter. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1 Selectmen reviewed a Letter of -Interest from Jane Stockbridge -who is <br /> interested in serving on the Council. on Aging. <br /> Selectman. Lawrence moved to appoint .Jame Stockbridge to the Council on <br /> Aging. Selectman Carter seconded the motion. Vote -was unanimous, <br /> 2 Selectmen reviewed a Letter of Interest from Norman L. Reed -who is <br /> interested in serving on the Senior Center Building Needs Committee,, <br /> Selectman Lawrence moved to appoint Dorman L. Reed to the Senior Center <br /> Building , eed Committee. <br /> 8 The P rsonnel Board recommended -appointment of- Elizabeth Riley as a <br /> Public Safety Dispatcher to-fill the position 'va ated by Elizabeth Beeler, <br /> Selectman Lawrence- moved to appoint Elizabeth Riley as a public safety <br /> dispatcher. Selectman- Carter seconded the motion. Note was unanimous. <br /> L <br />
