r <br /> f <br /> BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> TUESDAY, JANUARY ✓, 1989 <br /> PAGE TWO <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> Mike Hanlon ofWeston & Sampson Engineers appeared before <br /> the Board to discuss the cost summary regarding the pilot <br /> study for a wastewater treatment facility. Mr. Hanlon <br /> advised the Board that Weston & Sampson would submit an <br /> amendment to their contract and continue on with the pilot <br /> study. <br /> 3 . Mr. George Zoto of DEQE attended to present the Ground Water <br /> Resource Report to the Board. Mr. Lawrence advised Mr. Zoto <br /> that he would forward copies. of the documents and see that a <br /> representative from the Planning Board, Board of Health, <br /> Building Inspector's office, Conservation Commission, Town <br /> Planner and the Water District attend the meeting to be held <br /> on January 2 , 1989. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. The Board scheduled meeting for January 19, 1988 at 7 : 00 <br /> p.m. to meet with John Sheppard, Director, Public Access <br /> Board relative to problems at Mashpee/Wakeby Pond. <br /> OTHER OLD BUSINESS <br /> 11 Mr. Carter asked Mr. Murphy whether a letter of resignation <br /> had been received by Mr. Sewall, former member of the <br /> Finance Committee. Mr. Murphy stated that he was not aware <br /> letter being received to date. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 11 Mr. Gottlieb moved that the articles relating to Jet Skis, <br /> Articles to and 11 he sponsored by the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Mrs, Jacobson seconded the motion. Mr, Lawrence and Mr. <br /> Carter were not in favor and Mr. Hanson abstained. <br /> Mrs, Jacobson moved to approve the final draft of the <br /> January 30, 1989 Special Torn Meeting warrant, Mr, Carter <br /> seconded the motion, All were in favor. <br />
