Carter moved to accept the Regular and Executive session Minutes <br /> f April * 1989. Mrs . Jacobson seconded the motion and Mr . Gottlieb <br /> was in favor. <br /> APPOINTMENTS 9 HEARINGS <br /> 1 . Shawn Kerrigan Cif Blue ross and Blue Shyield attended to <br /> discuss rates and benefits as they apply to the Town of <br /> M shpee. <br /> Mr . Kerrigan informed the Board that e rete i-ncrease of 5% <br /> would be likely. e stated that he would be meeting with <br /> the Cape Cod Municipal Health Group to deliver the renewal <br /> on April 26, 1989. <br /> Chief Ridgeway asked questions relative to the eight month <br /> waiting period for newly hired employees. Mr. Kerrigan <br /> stated that the Cape Cod Municipal Health Group had added e <br /> stipulation to the croup policies whereby on the <br /> anniversary date of July 1 , e one day waiver would be in <br /> effect and a new employee would not be subject to the eight <br /> months waiting per iod. <br /> I <br />
