*' r <br /> ■ <br /> b <br /> BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES RE ULA SESSION <br /> WEDNESDAY* MAY 109 1989 <br /> PACE FIVE <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 91 The Board received a letter from Nicholas Ashford regarding <br /> property he wishes to purchase Lot 74, Nap Nr. <br /> Lawrence suggested a concept be developed to begin to look <br /> at the man r 5mal l lots owned by the Town for possible sal <br /> to Interested parties. The Board agreed that to <br /> communicate back to Mr. Ashford that the Town would look <br /> into the ratter and advise him when the issue has been <br /> resolved. <br /> l * Nr* Lawrence moved to support the Cape Cod Chamber o <br /> Commerce in their efforts to reinstate $2 i i l ion ' that has <br /> been reduced from the budget of the Ma sachusetts Office of <br /> Travel & Tourism. Mr. Carter seconded the motion, All <br /> were in favor. <br /> 1.1 . The Board discussed a memorandum from Mr. Murphy relative <br /> o a special Election to be held for action to be taken on <br /> articles approved at the Annual Town Meeting that were <br /> subject to an override. <br /> Mr. Carter moved that a Special Election be held on June <br /> 24, 1989. Mrs . Jacobson seconded the motion. All were in <br /> favor. <br /> There was discussion as to whether to present the five <br /> administrative positions in a single question or as <br /> separate questions. Mr. Lawrence stated that he would not <br /> vote for anything that had previously been voted down by. <br /> the voters. <br /> Mr, Caner mored to put the five administrative pos i t i ons <br /> on the ballot for the special Election of June 2 , 1989 as <br /> individual questions. Mrs. Jacobson seconded the ration <br /> and Mr. Gottlieb was in favor. Mr . Lawrence was opposed, <br />
