r�s s - BOARD of SELECTMEN MINUTES -REGULAR SESSION MONDAY, JULY 17v 1989 PAGE T1 APPOINTMENTS TS HEARINGS #3 (cont. ) Rel-ative to Mr, Kirsner' s participation in negotiations dealing with the roadway and the beach, Mr. Kirsner requested that one other committee member be allowed to atttend these sessions. The Board agreed to this . The committee and the Board of Selectmen agreed to the following: . Great Oak Road - Advise the state that the 1981 Agreement was clear that improvements to Great oak Road would take place as improvements to the Park took place and that the Town feels that the Town be reimbursed for its expenditures to date on modifying and improving the Road. Any work being done to improve the Park should be done at the same time work is done to the Road. Relocation of Town Beach - Redefine for DEM what the Town sees as the value of the Town Beech. Advise BEM that the Town would liketo leave the Beach where it is and if it is not possible to leave it where it, is the Town would be open to suggestions as to how the State can modify their design to prov i de the Town with ecruivalent value, i .e, the same type of amenities and benefits that the people of the Town now have. Mr. Kirsner requested clarification a to the attendance of meetings relative to South cape Beach. Any meetings that involved legal i nterpretat ion's , neotiations would include the Board of Selectmen, Morris Kirsner and one south cape Beach State Park Advisory Committee member. Meetings involving all other aspects, the Roadway and the Town Beach would be held jointly with the Selectmen and the full Committee, The Board advised Mr. Kirsner that this was i correct. Mr . Gottlieb stated that he would contact Mr. Kendall to obtain available meeting dates and advise the Committee and the Board of Selectmen.
