N <br /> 4P P <br /> BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY,? AUGUST * 1989 <br /> PAGE NINE <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 15. Mrs. Jacobson moved to appoint Selectman Gottlieb as <br /> Liaison to the Historical Commission as per his request. <br /> Mr, Lawrence seconded the motion and M . Manson was in <br /> favor. Mr. Gottlieb abstained. <br /> 16. The Board received letters of interest to serve on the <br /> Council on Aging from Evelyn Bins henfe l dt , John D. Walsh <br /> and Apr i 1 Johnson <br /> Mrs. Jacobson moved to appoint Evelyn Buschenfeldt to fill <br /> the vacancy that exists on the Council on Aging. There was <br /> no second. <br /> The Board agreed to defer action until September 1 1 , 1989 <br /> to determine whether the Council on Aging had responded <br /> with any recommendations . <br /> 17. r. Danson roved to appoint Mr, James Crossen as iashpee f s <br /> Sealer of Weights and Measures to be paid on a Contractual <br /> basis of $2, 000 per year including Car expense. Also, that <br /> an article be placed on the next Special Town Meeting <br /> Tarrant increasing the fees for the Sealer to help offset <br /> the cost. Mrs . Jacobson seconded the motion, All were in <br /> favor, <br /> OTHER NEW BUSINESS <br /> 11 Mr. Nutting informed the Board that the Harbormaster had <br /> been requested to move his records to a public facility. <br /> Mr. Fobl ins y is currently moving the records to the DPW <br /> Office. <br />
