i <br /> BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 11v 1989 <br /> PAGE FOUR <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 3 ., Mr. Lawrence mored to grant permission to Mr. Virgilio to <br /> proceed with the traffic light project at the intersection <br /> of old Barnstable Road and Great Neck Road North. Mrs <br /> Jacobson seconded the motion, All were in favor. <br /> Mr. Virci l io informed the Board that he had funds available <br /> for the project. <br /> . Mr. Gottlieb stated that he would attempt to schedule a <br /> joint meeting as requested by Br. DeMoura. The meeting <br /> would be held with the Board of Selectmen, Planning Board, <br /> Finance Committee, Conservation Commission and School <br /> Committee to discuss growth issues.. <br /> 51 The Board Noted unanimously to proclaim the week of <br /> September 17, 1989 through September 23 , 1989 as Emergency <br /> Medical Services Week, <br /> Mr. Lawrence moved to abate an ambulance bill for Patrolman <br /> Randy Dmello who was injured while on duty on July 12, <br /> 1989. Mr. Carter seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> The Board voted unanimously to accept the bid of Poland <br /> Sprint Water at a price of $4.90 per case, to supply <br /> battled water to the Summerwood/Asherfs Path area, <br /> 8. The Board noted a letter of resignation from Michael J . <br /> Forde, Jr. as Chairman and member of the I a hpee Arts <br /> Lottery Council , effective September It 1989, <br /> Being no further busines5 the meeting adjourned a 4:00 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Debra1ughlin <br /> IRBoard Secretary <br />
