MUNICIPAL COMPLEX COMMITTEE Tori Fuda l a attended to <br /> present to the Board proposed plans for the Town <br /> Hall /Police and Eire Station Complex. The plans included <br /> various approaches i ntohcomplex. Mr. Fudala 5howed <br /> the concept of a unified municipal complex where the <br /> Police/Fire stations and Town Hall would all be utilizing <br /> the same access and shared parking areas, shared utilities <br /> and that would be visually tied together. Mr. F' dala also <br /> discussed the idea of a pedestrian/bicycle underpass at <br /> Route to 1 1 to provide a safe crossing from the School to <br /> Mashpee Commons . <br /> Wayne Tavares of Benchmark Engineering explained the scope <br /> of services for the project, This would include 1 <br /> Engineering/survey layout for Jobs Fishfng Roach North, from <br /> Route 151 intersection to Old Barnstable Road, including <br /> the tie-in from Bates Toad East (Medical Center site <br /> planning for Fire station and Bas Depot, Police Station, <br /> new Town Hall and utility plant and Landscape <br /> architecture. <br /> Mr, Gottlieb stated that a financial package should be put <br /> together for this project. <br /> BASE NEGOTIATIONS DISCUS S1 - Mark Forest from Congressman <br /> Studd's office attended to bring the Board up-to-date <br /> relative to the negotiations with the Base* <br /> her. Forest inf rmed the Board that the attorneys at the <br /> Pentagon suggested that there had to be a procurement <br /> ntrat method as the form of agreement to be entered into <br /> between the Town and the Department of. Defense. Mr. Forest <br /> further stated that a waiver should be - issued this week. <br />
