Carter moved to accept the <br /> proposal of Bliss & Marzelli to convert the Town of Mashpee <br /> accounting system to the Revised Uniform Municipal <br /> Accounting System in the amount of $3,600 . Mr. Lawrence <br /> seconded the motion, A 1 1 were in favor. <br /> SPECIAL LEGISLATION/THE BARN - Mr. Hanson moved to <br /> Petition the General Court requesting the enactment of <br /> Special Legislation authorizing the Town of Mp , acting <br /> through the Board of Selectmen as e licensing authority to <br /> grant a year round all alcoholic package store license t <br /> Triple "C" Enterprises, Inc. , doing business as "The Barn" <br /> in the Merry Meadow Plaza on Route 28 in Mashpee as an <br /> exception to G.L.M. (sic) c. 138 s17 due to population <br /> limitations. Mr. Lawrence seconded the motion. All were <br /> in favor. <br /> OTHER NEW BUSINESS <br /> 11 PICK I CKS - Mr. Canter~ stated that Pickwicks is in the <br /> process of being sold and the owner has requested that e <br /> two week exen i on 'of filing for e liquor l i cense renewal . <br /> Mr. Carter was informed that they must file, but that the <br /> Town would hold off on cashing the check. <br /> RESERVE FUND TRANSFER - Mr. Lawrence moved to support a <br /> request to the Finance Committee for e reserve fund <br /> transfer for $1 , 000 for out-of-state travel , The purpose <br /> f this transfer is for travel expense reimbursement for <br /> candidates for the po- i ion of Executive Secretary. Mr. <br /> Carter seconded the mot'i on. All were In favor. <br />
