The Board should meet with the School Committee at this time. : 1� .m. Jan Cook, Hai stern Inc. Selectman Gottlieb has stepped down for this hearing. i Jan Cook of Hamstern, Inc. presented the alternative to a. large � wastewater treatment facility. His system is portable in which vehicle drives to the site, retains the solids, removes, treats and replaces the liquids into the system and later composts the solids at a compost site. The vehicle can service ten to twenty systems per day, They are reeommendeing this to be dome to the homeowner on a. yearly basis at ars estimated cost of $200 -per household. The vehicle can also process schools and nursing homes to service while they arein operation. The truck separates solids from liquids. The solids leave with the truck. It reduces the amount of nitrates and solids and eliminates the need for la.goo ing. Selectman Gottlieb is concerned with the chlorination of water into the ground water. 4, Selectman Carter has suggested Ha stern meet with the Board of Health and DEP on this matter of concern. He suggests they return to the meeting of January 28th to discuss the advisement ent of DEP and the Board of Health, Adjournment The motion was made by Selectman Gottlieb to adjourn the meeting being no further business to discuss. The selectmen will go into Executive session to discuss litigation involving the town and will'not e reconvening. The motion was seconded by Selectman Danson.
