1 <br /> f <br /> BOARD OF S LEC N page 3 <br /> MINUTES <br /> DiSDAY, FEBRUARY 209 1991 <br /> Mr. T' s Auto Repair: <br /> Selectman Hanson has no objectives to the Class Il Motor Vehicle <br /> License. He has stated Mr. Trottier has done a nice job with the <br /> property. <br /> The motion was rade by Selectman Hanson to grant the Class II <br /> Motor Vehicle License to Mr. Trottier d/b/a Mr. ' s Auto Repair. <br /> The motion was seconded by Selectman Gottlieb, The Grote is <br /> unanimous with the Barad. The vote is 4-0. <br /> Water Spigot at Ibis :osal.. Ent Gate . Bilin g.- <br /> he motion was made by Selectman Gottlieb to authorize Kevin <br /> Harrington to indicate to the Water District to provide water <br /> to the entry at the landfill* <br /> The motion was seconded ed by Selectman Lawrence. The Grote is <br /> favorable 3-1. Selectman Hanson is opposed to the ridiculous fee, <br /> but not to the water to be made available to the public. <br /> Selectman Hanson would like the water spigot at the landfill <br /> and available to the residents at no charge, He feels enough taxes <br /> are paid to the District and they should absorb the cost within <br /> the l.r budget. <br /> Selectman Jacobson noted the total cost is not to exceed $100 <br /> per year and the Highwood fee was $100 to $150 per year for usage. <br /> She is also in favor of the water to be monitored by the gate <br /> attendant, <br /> Communication from the Ca a ,Cod Commissiont <br /> Selectman Jacobson made note of the ' o m nica.tion from the Cape <br /> Cod Commission on appointments. Mashpee has drawn a three year tern <br /> and the position has been changed From interio m to the appointment <br /> of Mr. John Halachi s as Full time member of the Commission. <br /> Anointment of Civil Defense Directors <br /> At Kevin Harrington' s request, the Board will defer theappoint- <br /> ment of Civil Defense Director until the next scheduled meeting. <br /> Appointment of TEACMember and Alternate <br /> Since Mr. Fiorentini will not be in Town for the next TEAC <br /> meeting scheduled for March 13, 1991, it is recommended the Board of <br /> Selectmen authorize a Board of health representative attend the meeting, <br /> It was also recommended by the Director of Barnstable County <br /> Health and Environmental Department and-,--from the Board of Health in <br /> ashpee that the primary Board of Health representative be Elias McQuaid <br /> and lterna.te representative be Stephen relish. <br /> The motion was made b Selectman Gottlieb to appoint ppint liMcQuaid <br /> s TEAC representative and Stephen Greelish as the alternate represent* <br /> Live, <br /> The motion was seconded by Selectman Lawrence. The vote is <br /> unanimous with the Board. The vote is -o. <br /> Board of Health representative Elias McQuaid will be present at <br /> the March 13, 1991 meeting of TEAC in the absence of Mr. Fiorentini. <br />
