The vote of the Board is favorable. The vote is -o. APPointment of Civil DefenseDirector: The motion was made by Selectman Lawrence to appoint Mr. Gene Narr as Civil. Defense Director. Proclamation from MADD for val; Selectman Gottlieb rade the motion to execute the approval f the MADD proclamation with the andment of Board of Selectmen to replace Town Counsel inthe three areas of the procaration. The motion was seconded by Selectman Lawrence. The vote of the Board is unanimous, The vote is 5-o. Dash ee Little League re: Concession Stand: Carl Taylor President of the Mashpee Little League was present for discussion. Mrs Harrington gave a brief discussion of the events leading to the erection of the building of concern. The building was built on the weekend of April 20, 1991, The Little League has a. valid building permit. The problem lies in the report from the four departments as to their knowledge and involvement states Mro Harrington* Therewas an apparent miscommunication between the Little League and the Leisure Services Department. There was an idea to erect a building with no specific date, Volunteers 6onstructed the building with private funds including some Town appropriation. Mr. Harrington noted the permit was issued without a signature, The fault 'is with the regulatory agents, Mr. Harrington met with the Little League to proceed on a better coordinated manner on April. 26, 1991. The building is -here, the problem is what to do with it, According tothe procurement law, the Town should go out to competitive bid since the Town is the legal. owner. Selectman Jacobson asked why and how the funds were recieved from the Town to pay for a well and septic system? Mrs Harrington did not k � funds � were t be used after the well.
