The vote of the Board is unanimous. <br /> The vote is 5-o. <br /> Surplus Refrigerator: <br /> Dr. DeMoura has informed the Board -there is a. surplus refrigerator <br /> the School C,ommittee has noted to declare surplus. Two organizations <br /> wish to obtain and use the refrigerator. <br /> The Selectmen do not know who has asked for the refrigerator <br /> First whether is is the dead Start Program or the Tribal Council.. <br /> The motion was made 'by Selectman Hanson to allow the use of the <br /> refrigerator to the Head Start Program, The motion was seconded b <br /> Selectman Ca wn. <br /> It is the consensus of the Board to offer the refrigerator to <br /> a 'down department first. This is required by a Town bylaw. <br /> Selectman Danson and Selectman Calf n have withdrawn their motions. <br /> Continental Coblevision: <br /> The motion w s-4 mace by Selectman ottlieb to seek a recommendation <br /> from the Cable Committee to determine if a letter of support is <br /> warranted. Continental C tevi sio is attempting to apply for their <br /> industry' s Seal of Good Customer Service. <br /> The motion was seconded by Selectman Lawrence. The vote of the <br /> Board is unanimous, The vote is 5-0. <br /> Advisory from the Barnstable County Commissioners: <br /> The information is so noted by Selectman Jacobson, <br /> Advisory.,from the Elder Services of C a Cock and the Islands: <br /> The motion was},made by Selectman Gottlieb to participate in <br /> Desert Stora Appreciation Day. This is scheduled on July 4, 1991 in <br /> Hyannis at the Village Green, The motion was seconded by Selectman. <br /> Lawrence. The vote of the Board is uhanimous. The vote is 5-0. <br /> State Boat Ramp Discussion: <br /> It was advised by Selectman Jacobson to withdraw this discussion <br /> at this time. <br /> Local Aid: <br /> Kevin Harrington reported there are changes expected in the House <br /> Ways and deans Budget. It is worth watching at this point. The <br /> innovative changes will benefit municipalities and the procurement <br /> law which are advantageous to I a.shpee. <br /> o tib _Vacancy Dispatcher. <br /> With the vacancy of Wayne Woodward, the Police and Fire Departments <br /> have requested this position be filled. The Personnel, Board has also <br /> recommended to fill the vacancy. The request is to Fill immediately <br /> so the applicant can be trained prior to the holiday season. <br /> Selectman Lawrence has grave reservations towards the applicant. <br /> It is the consensus of the Board to bring this back at a later date <br /> for discussion. <br />
