Harrington <br /> Assistant Town Counsel Leslie horse <br /> Guests: Over fifty Mashpee residents including Tony Gallo, Paul. <br /> `inn, Jim Vaccaro, Dr. Deli dura, Elizabeth Petti, Dean <br /> Driscoll, David Bailey, Denise Sullivan, Diane I om elr ever, <br /> Joyce Mason, Paul Ott <br /> The Meeting was Called to Order by Chairman Jacobson at 7102 p.m. <br /> The motion was rade by Selectman Lawrence to approve the minutes <br /> f September 3, 1991. The motion was seconded by Selectman Caffyn. <br /> Selectman HansDn asked that the minutes be clarified to reflect on <br /> page six last paragraph under the Cape Cod Commission Application <br /> Appointments. He questions it is the consensus of the Board to rake <br /> the appointment next week for the Cape Cod Commission Representative <br /> to Mashpee if that is how the meeting ended. <br /> At that point, it was the consensus suggested Selectman Jacobson. <br /> It was later in the meeting that Selectman Gottlieb indicated he <br /> would not be present for the appointment. <br /> There is no quote or vote taken, Selectman Caffyn suggests the <br /> minutes be clarified since it is a. sensitive issue. It is the consensus <br /> of the Board for the tape to be viewed for clarification purposes. <br /> The motion was made by Selectman CafTyn to approve the minute <br /> of September 9, 1991. The motion was seconded by Selectman Hanson. <br /> The vote of the Board is unanimous. The vote is -o. <br /> Selectman Jacobson gave a brief introduction to the residents <br /> of lashpee to assure the people of Mashpee that the Board of Selectmen <br /> is present to conduct the business of the Town. She doesn' t anticipate <br /> any problem. <br /> It was noted by Selectman Jacobson that tickets are available for <br /> the Senior Citizen' s fundraiser. for furniture for the Senior Citizen <br /> Center, <br /> PUBLIC DISCUSSION : <br /> None at this time, <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Review and Execution of the October Town Meeting Warrant: <br /> Selectman Jacobson made rote the Wa.r'rant Articles for review <br /> should be dated September 13, 1991 since charges have been made. <br /> Article 1: This article seeks to transfer money from revenue <br /> available to eliminate the EY 90 oerlay deficit. This is required <br /> so the FY 92 budget can be balanced <br /> The deficit is a.pproximatel $220, 000 reports Nor. Harrington, <br /> The intent is to transfer funds from revenue available for appropriation <br /> to balance the budget. The sure is approximately $123, 000. <br /> Mr. Vaccaro noted that this will take care of the FY 90 overlay <br /> deficit as of 6/30/91* There is approximately $220y000 in deficit <br /> to be taken care of between now and October for FY 93. <br />
