BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page 11
MINUTES
TUESDAY FEBRUARY 18 , 1992
FY 93 Budget Discussion:
To disseminate real estate bills on a quarterly basis is strongly
recommended. If the bills are sent on a timely basis, it would aid
with the cash flow and save in short term interest payments relates
Mr. Harrington.
Administrative changes recommended include a bi-weekly payroll .
To central pool the Town vehicles is also a recommended change to
be instituted by October 1 , 1992 if approved.
We have to look towards expanding the tax base relates Mr. Har-
rington. He suggests promoting the community and taking advantage of
its natural attractions with the Economic Development Commission or the
Chamber of Commerce.
It is important the Board view the process, the numbers and the
priorities indicates Mr. Harrington with a strong focus on the dis-
tribution of tax bills on a timely basis .
Adjournment :
****Being no further bu§iness to discuss at this time the motion
was made by Selectman Vaccaro to adjourn at 11 : 34 p.m. The motion
was seconded by Selectman Mills. The vote of the Board is unanimous .
The vote is 4-0.
The Board will enter into Executive Session to discuss pending
litigation and will not resume in open session. Soares
Board Secretary
