BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page 4 <br /> MINUTES <br /> MONDAY, MAY 11, 1992 <br /> Willowbend Development Corp. - Liquor License Hearing: <br /> Selectman Mills notes that the Planning Board did not give <br /> the commitment for the facility to be used exclusively for the <br /> land owners. <br /> Mr. Southworth relates that events are planned for the <br /> benefit of charity to entertain the public. Willowbend will not <br /> advertise of solicit to the public for dinner and drinks . The <br /> club will be open for the public. <br /> The anticipated opening date is July 1 , 1992 . Most evenings <br /> the club will plan on closing at 11 : 00 p.m. , the preferred <br /> license is requested for 1 :00 p.m. closing. <br /> Selectman Costa questioned the occupancy based on sewerage. <br /> It was noted by Mr. Southworth the facility is in compliance with <br /> the seating capacity that is not in current use . The use of the <br /> building will be limited to the Board of Health ' s current permit. <br /> *The Board will take this under advisement . Selectman Caffyn <br /> suggests to place this on Thursday ' s agenda . <br /> 8 : 00 p.m. Richard ' s Pub - Expanded Entertainment License <br /> Hearing: <br /> Richard Halpern was present in representation of the Cape <br /> Cod Convention Center, Inc. d/b/a Richard ' s Pub. *Selectman <br /> Mills stepped down for this discussion. (notice enclosed of hearin(, ) <br /> �. Mr. Halpern requests the Board to permit the addition of <br /> coin operating devices to his current pool tables . The two pool <br /> tables are presently operated at no charge . <br /> The Town would receive revenue of $100 per year per table if <br /> the license is approved . Mr. Halpern relates the tables close on <br /> Saturday nights at 9 : 00 p.m. to convert to a regular table . <br /> It is currently legal to have two pool tables in the <br /> establishment . <br /> Selectman Mills voiced her concern as a resident to the <br /> adequacy of parking. Mr. Halpern noted the Police do ticket cars <br /> on Great Neck Road . <br /> *Selectman Vaccaro recommends to obtain input from the Police <br /> Department . The Board is in agreement to take this under <br /> advisement at this time . <br /> 8 :05 p.m. Selectman Caffyn closed the hearing. <br /> Charles Talanian and Doug Storrs re: Donna ' s Lane : <br /> Mr. Talanian, Donald Segal , Mr. Storrs and Mr . Chase were <br /> present for the discussion relative to Donna ' s Lane. <br /> Mr. Talanian is in agreement to work with the Town to <br /> resolve the pending issue of Donna ' s Lane. He requests certain <br /> conditions be applicable to his agreement. <br /> Conditions requested as related by Mr. Segal include the <br /> Flea Market permit to be transferred to Mr . Talanian ' s name and <br /> issued as a permanent special permit. <br />
