5 ' <br /> BOARD F SELECTMEN Page <br /> MINUTES <br /> MONDAY, JUNE 1 , 1992 <br /> Liquor License Hearing: Best Buy Beveara� : <br /> Town Counsel asks the applicant if a corporate resolution <br /> has been filed? Mr. Garrett notes that it has . It is the same <br /> as last year. He also indicates that- he is in compliance with <br /> the statutory notice requirement . <br /> + If the Board grants the new license, 'down Counsel asks if <br /> the applicant will surrender the present license? Wayne Garrett <br /> .indicates the establishment will surrender the present license if <br /> granted the new license . <br /> All taxes have. been -paid to date reports Mr. Garrett. <br /> Selectman Jacobson suggests to review any violations reported to <br /> the Police Department , she asks Mr. Garrett to send a letter to <br /> the Board indicating that they will continue to operate the <br /> redemption center as part of the condition of the license . <br /> Selectman Caffyn closed the Public Hearing at p.m. The <br /> Board will take this under advisement at this time. <br /> Liquor License Hearing: Deer Crossing-Market: <br /> Douglas Beoy and Attorney Kevin Kirr•ane were present to <br /> di's'cuss the application for an all-alcoholic Package Goods Sore <br /> license for BIA, Inc. d/b/a Deer Crossing Market . <br /> Attorney Kirrane indicates that the Beey ' s have owned the <br /> market for three years. It is a convenience type of facility for <br /> the public. The -establishment has an excellent trach record at <br /> this location. <br /> During the winter months , the establishment ent services an <br /> average of 500 - customers on a daily basis . A wide range of food <br /> . products- are offered, The malt- and wine license has been in <br /> existence for years. <br /> The affidavit of compliance, has been completed to. notify the <br /> abutters indicates Attorney Kirrane. The corporate resolution <br /> has also been completed,. <br /> Selectman Mills indicates her concern to the appearance of <br /> the application. There are several areas of where it is not <br /> legible and several questions are not answered . <br /> All taxes have been paid to date on the establishments* <br /> There have been no incidents of Police reports. <br />
