BOARD of SELECTMEN Page 3 MINUTES MONDAY, JUNE 15r 1992 CLAMS Contract : Helene DeF'oe and Cynthia Mills were present to discuss the CLAMS Contract with the Board . Town Counsel indicates in a letter dated June 8 , 1992 that the Selectmen should he aware of the fact that the prior agreement was signed by theSelectmen* The present agreement specifically states that the Town will he acting by and through the Library Trustees as opposed to the Selectmen, Helene DeFoe ,indicates that this is a standard contract with all of the libraries involved in CLAMS. The wording is different , but there 'is not a lot of difference in the product informs Ms . Mills who is the current Director of the osterville Library. Selectman Vaccaro indicates his concern to page 21 . The dates are inaccurate, Ms, DeF'oe gave clarification to the inacurracy of the dates . The correct period is July 1 , 1992 to June 30, 1993 opposed to January 11 1992 to June 30 , 1992 . i Selectman Vaccaro indicates that the schedule should be corrected with the annual fee multiplied by two months. The sum of $2 , 798 .00 should he multiplied by two rather than divided to reach . a total sum of $5 , 596 .00 . The motion was made by Selectman Vaccaro to authorize the Library Mashpee Li Trustee ' s to sign the CLAM contract on behalf of p y the Town providing it is corrected for the period July 1 , 1992 through Tune 30, 1993 for a total amount of $5, 596 .00 . The motion was seconded by Selectman Costa , OTE: Unanimous. -o . Change of Manager: New Seabury Country Club and Popponesset Marketplace Cafe and Raw Bar: *Selectman Vaccaro has stepped down for this discussion. New eaury Country Club: Janet Peirce was present in representation as the new Manager for New Seabury country Club. She indicates that she is the present Food and Beverage Director . She now works full time and will be on the premises full time as Manager. Selectman Caffyn indicates that she is in correspondence with ABCC on this request . This will be taken under advisement at this time.
