Major activities include <br /> I <br /> the consolidation of the two departments in the fall relates <br /> Mr. Gordon. <br /> The re-building of Popponesset spit is also an item o <br /> concern. A special meeting can be scheduled to meet with <br /> representatives from Barnstable to discuss this concern notes <br /> Mr. Gordon. <br /> The Waterways Commission meets monthly on Tuesday ' s at 7 ,930 <br /> .rpt. <br /> 7: 34 p.m. Bob Connell re : Evaluation : <br /> Attorney Carter has requested on behalf of his client that <br /> the discussion be held in open session. <br /> *selectman Vaccaro has stepped down for this discussion. <br /> Selectman Caffyn indicates that due to a long agenda , the <br /> discussion will be limited to members of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Attorney Carter indicates that he has reviewed the statute . <br /> The verbal opinion of the Assistant District Attorney relates <br /> that if an individual is involved and has requested an open <br /> Meeting, his Counsel shall be allowed to speak and participate in <br /> the discussion. <br /> For the record! Selectman Caffyn indicates that she was <br /> advised by Attorney Gilman and Attorney dorso relative to the <br /> provisions of Chapter 3 , section 2P The Attorney in <br /> representation of Mr . Connell can only advise his client and will <br /> not be allowed to participate in the discussion with the <br /> Selectmen. <br /> Selectman Caffyn indicates that' six evaluations were <br /> received from members of the Council on Aging. Four evaluations <br /> were not signed . The two performance evaluations submitted by <br /> Betty Jones and Robert Osborne were included in the evaluation, <br /> A memo was also submitted tte from liaison Carol Jacobson. As part <br /> of the evaluation, the Board will take into consideration the <br /> written notes received. front Sevin Harrington* <br /> Mr. Connell gave indication that he thought the two <br /> evaluations were signed . He sust6 this to be invalid since the <br /> actual document was not signed by the individuals . <br />
