5 <br /> BAR-D OF SELECTMEN Page 9 <br /> MINUTES <br /> MONDAY, AUGUST 3 , 1992 <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> DPW Director various Items : <br /> Curb Cut - Monomoscoy Road - colonial Gas Update : <br /> Mr. Taylor submitted a memo to the Board with regards to <br /> continued attempts to resolve the above issue with Colonial Gas * <br /> John ' s Pond Estates Public Road conversion; <br /> Mr. Taylor indicated that- the Treasurer did not budget funds <br /> to finance theJohn-is Pond Estates Road conversion project in <br /> F9 . <br /> Selectman Vaccaro relates that this item of concern will be <br /> discussed with Anne Shaw. More information will be received next <br /> week. <br /> Michael Forde was present to discuss this concern@ He <br /> indicates that seed money can be contributed by residents that <br /> should be deducted from the total cost of the road. <br /> The Treasurer informed Mr. Forde that the money .would go <br /> into a donation account, Mr. Forde suggests to form a separate <br /> account so the seed money can be deducted from the total cost of <br /> the road. <br /> Attorney Morse reviewed the betterment process for <br /> clarification purposes . <br /> Great oak Road - Engineering for Planning: <br /> Mr. Taylor indicates that DEM is unable to provide funds to <br /> provide a survey crew to assist with Great Oak Read. He asks the <br /> Board to support a figure not to exceed $10FOOO for the required <br /> engineering and survey information for MEPA review. <br /> Selectman Mills indicates that this service is needed to <br /> generate base estimates for the construction of Great Oak Road , <br /> This is a Town owned road and safety problems are also a concern. <br /> *The motion was made by Selectman Mills to grant Greg Taylor <br /> access of up to $10,000 from the Lead and Engineering Account <br /> for the purpose of engineering for -the planning of Great oat <br /> Road . The motion was seconded by Selectman Jacobson. VO'T'E: <br /> Unanimous, 4-0 . <br /> 9 : 25 p.m. Five minute recess . <br /> 9 ; 32 p.m. Meeting resumed . <br />
